The all-over reversible fleece are very warm, so in my opinion they’re best for severe cold like ski/snowboard outings. For a lighter weight but still warm option, try the merino version.
2 | White Pine porcelain mountain candle by GP Candle Co | Bring some mountain vibes inside! This fragrance is one of my signature home scents that I buy over and over. The textured mountain ceramic container is also absolutely stunning by itself and can be cleaned and reused. When you get down toward the bottom of the candle, the flame even glows through the ceramic. MAGICAL.
3 | North Drinkware handmade mountain glassware | Over the years, I’ve given North Drinkware’s glasses over and over. They’re that perfect balance between personal, useful, and luxurious. 4 | “The Sun is a Compass” by Caroline Van Hemert | One of my favorite books I’ve read this year! This adventure memoir has none of the ego or something-to-prove vibe that plagues many books in this genre. It’s a true nature-first story. Caroline and her husband’s adventure will leave the reader in absolute awe. Caroline expertly weaves themes around birds, other wildlife, and motherhood/family throughout the book. Buy it through your local bookstore or bookshop.org.
5 | Cotopaxi fanny pack | Fanny packs are not only hot right now, they’re incredibly practical for hiking and backpacking! The small size is perfect for quick access to a small camera, phone, and snacks. If bright colors aren’t their thing, check out Patagonia’s similarly sized hip pack for more understated tones.
6 | Art prints by Lindsay Gilmore | I absolutely adore Lindsay’s recognizable but abstract style. Though much of her work is focused around Oregon, she has paintings from recognizable landmarks and national parks all over the US. Her prints are an affordable way to directly support an artist, and they’re sure to impress even the one who has everything.

7 | Sven Ceramics handmade mugs | These mugs are nearly impossible to score, but if you really want to wow somebody, snag her one of these stunningly gorgeous landscape mugs. Follow their Instagram to find out exactly when their shop updates will be happening. Keep in mind the real gold accents mean many of these mugs are not microwave-safe.
8 | Black Diamond Cirque hybrid gloves | These hybrid gloves are really the best of both worlds: the warmth of mittens with the dexterity of gloves. Although they’re primarily made with ski touring in mind, I love wearing mine for snowy runs! Note these are not vegan.
9 | The North Face ThermoBall booties | Give the gift of cozy toes! These are especially a good gift for that one person who’s cold all the time. I wear these daily in the winter, and they keep my feet warm on even the most frigid dog walks. I recently reviewed these in their own post if you’d like to read all the details before buying.
